Abraham Gomez, bass-baritone, is a senior at The University of Texas at San Antonio. He is currently pursuing a B. M. in Vocal Performance and studying under Crystal Jarrell Johnson.
Recent endeavors include a voice teaching fellowship in Valparaiso, Indiana under the Lutheran Summer Music Academy & Festival and an internship at Texas Public Radio. Through his time in the non-profit organizations, he has maintained a studio, conducted interviews, published articles, and performed at venues in the
San Antonio, Texas and Valparasio, Indiana area. At UTSA, he has held roles in UTSA Lyric Theater productions such as Masetto in Don Giovanni and El Ogro in El Gato Con Botas. He frequently premieres works by new composers such as Wesley Uchiyama-Penix, Jordan Green, and Elijah Koopman. In the future, he hopes to continue pursuing teaching and performance.
